Khajuraho

Khajuraho Group of Monuments is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its stunning medieval temples built between the 9th and 11th centuries by the Chandela dynasty. Located in the state of Madhya Pradesh, these temples are renowned for their intricate carvings and sculptures that depict gods, daily life, and symbolic themes of love and spirituality.

Out of the original 85 temples, about 20 have survived, showcasing a blend of architectural brilliance and artistic expression. The site reflects a balance between physical and spiritual aspects of life, making Khajuraho one of India’s most unique cultural and historical destinations.
